Saskia Rysenbry is a social designer and founder of the Sathyam Project and co-founder of Circology and HeyLow. She helps design businesses and products with real empathy, and with the potential for real social impact, always aiming toward the protection of vulnerable people and ecosystems.
Orginally from New Zealand, she now lives in Berlin and has previously counted Portugal, Sweden, the Netherlands, UK, Australia, India and Laos her home at some point.

Sathyam Project transforms the lives of girls and women in India by creating profitable social enterprises. Our recent project, the Sathyam Empowerment Centre, raised 24,000 euro from 243 people and will be finished later this year. You can read about that here.

HeyLow is a digital agency dedicated to creating a greener and less energy-intensive internet. Data consumption is having a huge affect on climate change.
Precious Plastic are open-source machine plans, tools and resources for people to recycle plastic. Currently over 70k citizen activists and 200+ workspaces in the fight against plastic waste, Saskia worked on the community platform while living at V4 - a 12 month project with over 90 designers, machine builders, developers, analysts (and many more) living in a community in the south of the Netherlands.
